Union League Announces #1 Player Monday, August 24th , 2065 At the age of 29, Kareem Said might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Cleveland second baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .417 batting average. For his efforts Said collected the Union League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 10 hits in 24 at-bats, 4 home runs and 9 RBIs last week in 6 games. For the season, Said is hitting at a .309 clip with 33 home runs, 90 RBIs and has scored 78 runs. He has 141 hits, 34 walks and a .354 on-base percentage. |
