No Late-Season Magic Coming: Cleveland Out of Playoffs Friday, October 2nd , 2065 Cleveland Brownies starting pitcher Matt Shields said it is a "bitter disappointment" for he and his teammates to miss the playoffs. The remarks came hours after the club was mathematically eliminated from 2065 postseason contention. Cleveland last appeared in the postseason in 2057. This is their 8th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 31 times in their 47 - year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Brownies have made the playoffs 2 times. Cleveland last won the SIMBL Coveted Cup Championship Series in 2057. |
