CHOPPERS' FORMER FIRST ROUND PICK CALVO OUT FOR AT LEAST TWO WEEKS

Tuesday, August 8th, 2017: Disappointing news today for Colchester Choppers fans. Ricardo Calvo was hurt throwing the ball in their game against the Oregon Pioneers and has shoulder soreness. Team trainers were hesitant to predict a date for return but said it was likely the injury will keep the left fielder out at least 2 weeks.

For the season Calvo has hit .305 with 10 home runs and 58 RBIs. He has played in 110 games and scored 82 times.
