Pocatello's New #1 SP To Be Among SIMBL's Top Paid Pitchers

Pocatello's new ace Alberto Nunez (above) celebrates his first win in a T-Jacks uniform after the big trade with San Diego at the 2017 trade deadline.  Nunez inked a three-year deal with new GM Tim Melican worth more than $12,000,000 a season.

Saturday, August 12th, 2017: Team officials triumphantly announced that the Timberjacks and superstar starting pitcher Alberto Nuñez have closed a deal that keeps the 27-year-old in a Pocatello uniform for another 3 years.

Nuñez will earn $37,560,000 as part of the settlement.

This season Nuñez has worked 40.2 innings with 25 strikeouts en route to a 2-1 record and a 3.98 ERA.
