SIMBL HISTORIC MOMENTS UPDATED

HUSTLERS' ACE 'TRIPLE A' OFF TO HISTORIC START IN 2030

The Best Has Seemingly Yet To Come As Four-Time Hurler Of The Year Ties For Best Start By A Starting Pitcher In SIMBL History: 14-0 1.09 ERA 0.63 WHIP

Las Vegas ace Alan Alexander Anderson (above) looks to avenge last season's close vote narrowly losing to Deer Lake's long-time UL transfer Richard Dicks Jr. which prevented him from winning his fifth consecutive SL Hurler Of The Year Award by tying getting off to the best start by any starting pitcher in the SIMBL's 26-season history.

Las Vegas ace Alan Alexander Anderson has made a lot of SIMBL history on his own during his illustrious 11-season SIMBL career and is adding feathers to his certain future SIMBL Hall Of Fame cap.

Having won four consecutive SL Hurler Of The Year Awards from 2025-2028, Anderson was narrowly beat out in votes of his fifth consecutive HOTY award last season by Deer Lake's Richard Dicks Jr. who was traded into the SL after winning three consecutive UL HOTY awards from 2025-2027 with Cleveland.  Last season's award tied Dicks Jr. with Anderson for the second-most HOTY awards in the SIMBL's 26-season history next to SIMBL Hall Of Famer Bobby Grimes' astounding eight awards for being his league's best pitcher.

It looks like "AAA" is only getting better now as he hit his 30th birthday.

"Triple A" is tied for the best start by a pitcher in SIMBL history starting the 2030 season.

Anderson picked up two more wins during 2030 SIM 11 to improve his record to 14-0 in his first 16 starts with a blistering 1.04 ERA and an even more unfathomable 0.63 WHIP.  He is an amazingly perfect 16 for 16 in quality starts.

Anderson has tied former Oregon starting pitcher Pedro Moreno's 12-0 and 14-0 starts during the 2012 season.  Former Oregon ace Angel Rodriguez started the 2014 season at 18-1 and former Dalton Dawgs Supplemental Free Agent signee Vernon Powell started 19-3 the same season.

Rodriguez's promising career was ended by the dreaded CEI (career-ending injury) on July 21, 2014 after going 28-4 with a 2.05 ERA the previous season.  The 28 wins were the most in SIMBL history at the time and stand third next to SIMBL Hall Of Famers Alberto Tovar's 33 wins in 2021 and Bobby Grimes' 29 wins in 2013.  Rodriguez's 32 quality starts that season stand second still in SIMBL history.

Rodriquez goes down in SIMBL history for having the third-most wins in a season when he went 28-4 with a majestic 2.05 ERA in 2013.  The 32 year-old 7/8/10-rated right-hander finished with a stellar 78-33 career record with a 3.04 ERA in a career cut too short.

Former Brooklyn phenom Marcus Dinges, one of three pitchers to have thrown two no-hitters in their careers in SIMBL history, started off 11-0 with a 1.19 ERA, 0.76 WHIP and 13 quality starts in his first 15 starts at the All-Star Break of the 2009 SIMBL season.
