CLIPPERS' MOLINA & GIANTS' RAYNES NAMED 2026 SIM 19 PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Veteran Carlos Molina had a great week at the plate for the Clippers to capture the majority of votes for Player of the Week in the Union League.

The 34-year-old Calgary right fielder built a .400 average on the strength of 12 hits in 30 at-bats, 3 home runs and 5 RBIs.

Molina is batting .299 with 27 home runs and 68 RBIs this season.

There's nothing like being in the prime of your baseball career -- and playing like it. Just ask Logan Raynes, the Sacramento third baseman, who swung a sweet bat all week to not only aid his team, but also pick up the Syndicate League Player of the Week honors.

Raynes piled up 9 hits in 22 at-bats, 4 home runs and 9 RBIs while hitting .409.

Raynes is currently hitting at a .292 pace with 33 home runs and 83 RBIs.

There's nothing like being in the prime of your baseball career -- and playing like it. Just ask Matt Kramer, the Bristol right fielder, who swung a sweet bat all week to not only aid his team, but also pick up the Union League Player of the Week honors.

Kramer piled up 12 hits in 25 at-bats, 4 home runs and 11 RBIs while hitting .480.

So far this year Kramer is hitting .275 with 27 home runs.

At the age of 31, Jacob Middleton might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Hawaii left fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .375 batting average. For his efforts Middleton collected the Syndicate League Player of the Week Award.

He racked up 9 hits in 24 at-bats, 3 home runs and 7 RBIs last week in 6 games.

So far this season Middleton has hit .256 with 19 home runs, 86 RBIs and and scored 55 times.

Red-Hot Calgary Slugger Taking Out Anger On UL Pitchers After Being Looked Over For 2026 UL All-Star Team

Calgary slugger Carlos Molina (above) has been a terror since being passed over for the 2026 Union League All-Star team.  Molina hit .426 with 12 HR and 25 RBI in earning the July 2026 UL Player Of The Month award and is currently riding a 29-game hitting streak.  The streak is the fourth-longest in the SIMBL's 22-season history.

Veteran Calgary slugger Carlos Molina was disappointed when he was bypassed for his sixth SIMBL All-Star Game this season.

Molina has made UL pitchers pay for the omission ever since and has been the SIMBL's hottest player since the 2026 SIMBL All-Star break.

As of the end of 2026 SIM 17, Molina is in the midst of a 29-game hitting streak and was recently named the UL Player Of The Week for 2026 SIM 14 and 2026 SIM 17 and also was named the July 2026 UL Player Of The Month.  Molina has won 15 Players Of The Week and 7 Players Of The Month in his eight-season SIMBL career.

Molina started out slow this season and traditionally has been a late bloomer.  He was stuck in the longest home run drought of his career before becoming the 12th player in SIMBL history to achieve 300 career SIMBL blasts earlier this season.  He since has caught on fire by hitting .426 with 12 home runs and 25 RBI in the month of July.

Molina's current 29-game hitting streak is now the fourth-longest in the SIMBL's 22-season history. 

New York's Artie Bradley set a new record last season by hitting safely in 36 consecutive games and broke former Portland second baseman Duane Fuller's mark of 32 straight games which stood for ten seasons previously set back during the 2015 SIMBL season.

Of the 22 players who have hit in 24 or more consecutive games safely in league history, 14 have come in the SIMBL New File Era (2019-Current).

CALGARY'S MOLINA & SACRAMENTO'S KEITH EARN JULY 2026 PLAYERS OF THE MONTH HONORS

Seasoned by several years of professional experience, 34-year-old Carlos Molina put together a solid offensive month for Calgary and was crowned July's top batter in the Union League.

He batted .426 with 12 home runs, 25 RBIs and 22 runs scored.

Thus far this season in 100 games Molina is batting .295 with 23 home runs, 58 RBIs and 64 runs scored. He has 117 hits in 396 at-bats.

Jack Keith battered Syndicate League pitchers all July and wound up taking home the Batter of the Month Award.

"I've been around SIM Baseball League long enough to know you really have to work hard day in and day out to be able to put up this kind of consistency," the 32-year-old Keith told reporters. "I put in a lot of work, even on the days I might not take the field, and it's always nice when everything comes together for me like it did this last month."

In 26 games, Keith hit .375 with 7 home runs, 25 RBIs and scored 19 runs.

This year Keith has batted at a .285 pace with 79 hits, 16 home runs, 54 RBIs and scored 42 times.

BATTALION'S DARBY & GIANTS' TARNOWSKY NAMED JULY 2026 PITCHERS OF THE MONTH

Alexander Darby has made fans throughout SIM Baseball League take notice over the past month with an exceptional 4-1 record. No pitcher in the Union League threw better in July, garnering him the Pitcher of the Month award today.

In 6 starts Darby compiled a 2.25 ERA, putting up a 4-1 record, striking out 30 and tossing 48 innings.

Checking out his stats for the season, Darby has racked up 11 wins and 8 losses in 21 starts, 2.95 ERA and struck out 106 batters in 155.2 innings.

Joe Tarnowsky hasn't been around the big leagues long enough to know that youngsters shouldn't be winning Syndicate League Pitcher of the Month. But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice.

In July the Sacramento starter earned a 5-0 mark in 5 starts. He threw 41 innings, struck out 31 and compiled a solid 2.20 ERA.

To date this season Tarnowsky is 13-3 with 20 starts and an ERA of 2.78 with 132 strikeouts in 139.1 innings.
