BROOKYN'S DINGES OFF TO BEST START IN SIMBL HISTORY
23 Year-Old Phenom Is 11-0 With A 1.19 ERA At The Break
Brooklyn's 23 year-old ace Marcus Dinges (above) has enjoyed the best first half of a season of any pitcher in SIMBL history. He is off to an amazing 11-0 1.19 ERA start for the first-place Cyclones in the SL East.
Brooklyn's 23 year-old SP Marcus Dinges enjoyed the best start and first half of a season by a SIMBL starting pitcher in the five season history of the league in 2009. Dinges, who already has two career no-hitters under his belt at his tender age, has started 11-0 with an amazing 1.19 ERA and an out of his world 0.76 WHIP in his first 15 starts of the 2009 campaign.
Dinges has 13 of 15 quality starts and has thrown 98.1 innings allowing just an amazing 11 walks and only 2 home runs in that span. He won SL Pitcher Of The Months Awards in May and June and was selected to his second SIMBL All-Star Game making his first career start in the game for the SL.
Dinges is on pace to possibly have the best season ever thus far in SIMBL history and already stands at 46-22 with a 2.68 ERA in his young career and still looks to have the best years of his career yet ahead of him.
