2034 PLAYOFF FIELD SET
Only One New Postseason Entry From Last Season As The Road To The 2034 SIMBL Coveted Cup Championship Begins
Westbury's All-Time SIMBL Hit King Matthew Brown Sets New SIMBL Single-Season Batting Average Of .367
Dallas teammates celebrate the clinching of the UL Central in 2034 SIM 26. The Texans end a six-season divisional crown drought and dethrone Calgary's six-season run in the UL Central and make the UL postseason field for the 11th time in the last 14 seasons and will gun for their first SIMBL championship after five previous trips to the SIMBL CS in franchise history.
Knoxville teammates celebrate the clinching of the 2034 SL Central division crown. The Lumberkings go back-to-back now with two straight divisional titles.
Hollywood, led by star CF John Svoboda's (above center), celebrate the clinching of their second consecutive SL wildcard. The Stars have a rematch with SL #1 seed Chicago after upsetting the Hitmen in five games last season in the SLDS.
2034 SIMBL LDS: Bristol (1) vs. Calgary (4) Dallas (2) vs. Cleveland (3) Chicago (1) vs. Hollywood (4) San Diego (2) vs. Knoxville (3)
2034 SEASON SERIES: BRISTOL 7 CALGARY 5 DALLAS 8 CLEVELAND 4 CHICAGO 8 HOLLYWOOD 4 SAN DIEGO 7 KNOXVILLE 5
The 2034 regular season came down to an exciting finish once again and the playoff field has been set.
Congratulations to the league on yet another, our 30th, successful and long regular season.
There is only one new entry into the postseason field from last season: Bristol while Dallas, Calgary, Cleveland, Chicago, San Diego, Knoxville and Hollywood return from last season. Only Whitby sits home this season after making the Elite Eight last year.
Congratulations to Bristol GM Greg Checovetes whose Owls (104-58) clinched their first division tile and first postseason berth in five seasons. The SIMBL charter franchise Owls win the 11th divisional title in franchise history and make their 12th overall trip to the SIMBL playoffs. The Owls clinched the UL #1 seed and improved +18 games from last season's 86-76 finish.
Congratulations to Dallas GM Robert Don whose Texans (98-64) won their first UL Central crown in seven seasons and end divisional rival Calgary's six-season supremacy in the division. It's the 4th division title in franchise history and 13th overall postseason appearance. Dallas makes the postseason for the 11th time in the past 14 seasons. Dallas lost to Cleveland in six games in last season's ULCS and will face the Brownies in a rematch. The Texans have advanced to the SIMBL Coveted Cup Championship Series five times yet seek their first SIMBL championship.
Congratulations to Cleveland Brownies GM Jonathan Fitzgerald whose Brownies (89-73) win their third straight UL West title. It's the 12th overall division and 14th overall postseason appearance in franchise history. The Brownies won the UL last season and lost in six games to San Diego in last season's SIMBL Coveted Cup Championship Series.
Congratulations to GM Christian DeMarco's Calgary Clippers (95-67) who clinched the UL wildcard by four games over the division rival Texas Roadrunners (91-71) of GM Pat Flanagan. The tough UL Central featured three 90-game win teams and Texas becomes one of the few 90+ win teams to fail to make it in the SIMBL postseason in league history. The Clippers were upset last season in the first round losing in seven games to Cleveland after holding a 3-1 series lead. Calgary meets Bristol who both teams have a long history of postseason meetings.
Congratulations to GM John Bowden's Chicago Hitmen (110-52) who wrap up the SL #1 seed. Chicago wins their third straight SL East title and it's the 13th overall division title and 14th overall playoff trip for the SIMBL charter franchise. The Hitmen were upset in last season's first round as well in five games losing to Hollywood and will seek to avenge that series loss in a rematch this season's SLDS against the Stars.
Congratulations to Knoxville GM Andy Hutchinson's Lumberkings (83-79) who win their second straight SL Central title. It's the fifth overall divisional title in franchise history and their 8th overall postseason appearance. The L-Kings got knocked out of last season's first round by eventual SIMBL champion San Diego in five games.
Congratulations to GM Don Krause and his defending SIMBL champion San Diego Warewolves (98-64) who wrapped up their fourth consecutive SL West title. It's the 21st division title for the SIMBL charter franchise and their 24th overall trip to the playoffs. The eleven-time SIMBL champion 'Wolves seek to become the first team in 26 seasons to repeat as league champions in the ever-competitive SIMBL.
Congratulatons to Hollywood GM Rodney Baylor's Stars (88-74) who held off Rochester GM Tony Christman's Roosters by two games to clinch their second consecutive SL wildcard berth. It's the sixth overall wildcard berth and 11th overall postseason trip in franchise history. The Stars upset Chicago and lost to San Diego in last season's SLCS.
Last season San Diego defeated defending UL champion Cleveland in six games in the 2033 SIMBL CS.
Bristol will face Calgary and Dallas will square off against Cleveland in a rematch of last season's ULCS in the UL.
Chicago will have a rematch against Hollywood while another rematch of last season's SLDS will put San Diego against Knoxville.
SIMBL LDS Games 1-3 will be run on Tuesday June 16, 2015 with an export deadline of 8:00 PM EDT. Good luck to everybody.
Westbury's SIMBL all-time hit king Matthew Brown sets a new SIMBL single-season record by hitting .367 breaking Oregon's Ju-Won Shi's previous single-season record of .360 in 2025. Brown is the UL and SIMBL batting champion while Hollywood's Juan Santos hit .347 and is the 2034 SL batting champion.

Whitby's Luis Castro led the SIMBL and UL with 47 saves. Dallas' Steven Pfleuger and Cleveland's Santiago Rivera led the UL with 41. San Diego closer Cedric Issacson's current save streak stands at 66 regular season games which is the second-longest in SIMBL history next to former Sunnyvale closer Robert McFadden's historic 78-game streak in 2019.
Hawaii's Chris Morales led the SIMBL and SL with 268 strikeouts while Seattle's Brock Vinci's 238 led the UL. Bristol's Sammy Flynn and Dallas' Michael Knox's 1.00 WHIP led the SIMBL and UL while San Diego's duo of Kelly Hoskinson and Michael Martin and Chicago's Alan Alexander Anderson's 1.06 led the SL.
Bend's Steven Sullivan and Hollywood's John Svoboda repeat from last season and are the only players to post a 30 HR/30 SB season this year.
San Diego's Akiro Hikaru's and Hollywood's Juan Santos' 208 hits led the SIMBL and SL while Calgary's Tad Jackson's 207 hits led the UL. Oregon's Ju-Won Shi (202) and Chicago's Jake Boles (200) posted the other rare 200-hit seasons this season. It's the third 200-hit season for Boles and the second for Shi and Jackson.
Toronto sophomore speedster Katsuhiko Kato led the SIMBL and UL with 116 stolen bases which are the fourth-most in a season in the SIMBL's 30-season history. San Diego's Akiro Hikaru's 100 swipes led the SL.
Rochester's Michael Sanders' good eye led the SIMBL and SL with 118 walks while Cleveland's Cody Taylor's 115 led the UL.
Hawaii slugger Roger Marcum's 85 extra base hits led the SIMBL and SL while Calgary's Tad Jackson's 79 led the UL.
Calgary's Tad Jackson led the SIMBL and UL with 59 doubles which are the second-most in a season in SIMBL history. Hollywood's Juan Santos led the SL with 53 two-baggers.
Asheville's Tommy Eagen, the SIMBL all-time triples leader, and Chicago's Francisco Santos led the SIMBL and SL with 12 triples this season. Cleveland's Bryan Drew, Calgary's Shawn Jeffries and Bristol's Kendrick Templeton led the UL with 11.
Chicago's Jake Boles led the SIMBL and SL with 366 total bases while Bristol's Kendrick Templeton's 338 led the UL.
San Diego's Akiro Hikaru led the SIMBL and SL with 122 runs scored while Cleveland's Manny Foster's 117 led the UL.
